Friday Afternoon Awesomeness Weekly Emails
Every Friday, I send out an inspirational email to a select group of men. These emails are short, sweet, and personal, and typically include curated resources around a central theme.
I cover a wide range of themes, including work, purpose, productivity, money, relationships, communication, masculinity, spirituality, health, family, and more…
Unlike your typical email list:
I keep the list small and encourage connection with everyone who signs up.
The emails are tailored to my clients and what they’re likely to be interested in.
I am real and personal, weaving in my own experiences and stories with the resources I share.
Here’s an example of what you’ll be receiving:
Today's Friday inspiration is a man who I've been fascinated with for years now, Josh Waitzkin.
Originally a chess prodigy (the subject of Searching for Bobby Fisher), he essentially mastered the game by age 16, got bored, took up tai chi, and then went on to become a world champion tai chi push hands competitor.
What fascinates me about Josh is that he's become a master of two (and more) disciplines that seem very different on the surface – one more mental, the other more physical – but what he sees and articulates brilliantly is the meta-principles behind learning and mastery.
His book, The Art of Learning: An Inner Journey to Optimal Performance is an absolute must-read. I also recommend each of his multiple appearances on the Tim Ferriss show. Each episode will unlock new insights about how you can optimize your learning process.
For men and male-identified folks who’d like a weekly dose of inspiration, sign up for Friday Afternoon Awesomeness!
